That flag really kills the shot, doesn't it. Anyhoo, went for a quick jaunt to the Grampians a few weeks ago. Stunning place, despite 4/5th of it being closed due to the flooding. Cursed global weather patterns. Still managed to find some nice hikes, with us taking a detour at one point and traversing up some rather gnarly boulders following the unofficial mountain climbers hardcore track. This just after the lady decided to watch 127 hours. Plenty of amputation jokes to be had.
Noticed quite a bit of charming contemporary Australian architecture in that area. Bluescope seem to have lots of the domestic and civic market in their grasp, plenty of new fangled corrugated roofs everywhere I looked. Then, in Horsham, discovered why. Massive plant of theirs just as you drive in. That aside, lots of rammed earth and tasteful lines everywhere I looked.
